Default Donuts in The Villages?

I'm not sure this post has an answer from what I've seen, but... OK here it is... Any place here on campus where you can get hot glazed yeast donuts? Maybe a food truck? I worked in a bakery during high school and the donut making was the highlight of my 3 years working there. Still love donuts, but where are they?

I suppose there is the obvious (to me) choice: Dunkin' at Brownwood, Southern Trace Plaza, Spanish Plaines Plaza and Spanish Springs.

Grew up in southern Indiana and loved the hot yeast doughnuts there. Although it is not in The Villages as was requested we have found that Dip-A-Dee Donuts, 1376 W North Blvd, Leesburg, FL 34748 are very close to what we used to get. We make the trip short about once a month.

For us, Dunkin Doughnuts just don't quite hit the mark.

Dunkins are not what they were back in the day that is for sure. The grocery stores sell Krispy Kreme’s and a couple seconds in the microwave make them taste like they just came off the line.

Skip the Dunkin Donuts on 441. They have hardly any of the good donuts in stock after 10 AM.

Sort of like a Florist without Flowers.

You wanna try some Donuts that will knock your eyes out? Donut King 208 S Hwy 27, Minneola, FL 34715. Down near Claremont. I know its a ride but you won't be disappointed. Ask for A Bear Claw. They have a Website for you to check out.

Someone was selling "home made" donuts in a roadside stand on Microracetrack Rd on Sunday morning, try that.

Default Donuts

It is a trip but if you are ever down in Clermont there is a 24 hour store called Donut King. I had a Bacon maple donut that was great. Their apple fritter is the size of a small pizza. Best donut shop I have ever been in. Unfortunately it is a trip but the donuts freeze well.

My Mommy always told me not to eat hot donuts, "They'll give you a stomach ache." Love you Mom!

It was a bit of Shock And Awe the first time we went there. It looks like a dump from the outside but is clean where the donuts are made and the nicest people.

I've been good all week maybe later Just ONE, Yeah Rite!

Oscar's Original Donuts(Poke Here)

Not that far away, opens at 5:00am, but I suggest you get there before about 8:00am (or call ahead)...or selection will be limited.

I like donuts, but they don’t like me. They settle right around my belly button and make it look like I got life saver (donut) around my waist. If I have donuts twice month that’s a lot for me

If you've ever had MSN as your homepage, you know that they are always featuring "find the best (whatever) in your state." Within the last few months, they had "find the best donuts in your state." Number 1 in the State of Florida was Donut King in Minneola! Of course, anyone that is a customer already knows that!

I keep hearing a rumor that Donut King was going to expand to Leesburg but still looking to find out if it is true.
