Default Eaton!s Beach

Dp000, we were also there on Tuesday at 5pm, with a party of 8. The food was good, we had no waits for drinks or food, even tho they were very busy. We would all go back.

We are big fans of Eaton's Beach. Love the ambiance, beachy casual.

We go frequently. Above Villages prices but very relaxing setting...key word relaxing. We do go early or for late lunch/early dinner and avoid the crowd.

We went to Eaton Beach this evening also. Arrived at 5:50pm and was told it would be a 2 1/2 hour wait. Left and went to Carrabba's, an hour and a half wait there. Left and went to Mezza Luna. Got right in and had a very nice dinner.
Will go back to Eaton Beach again, nice setting, but not on a weekend and most likely in April when the population thins out.

Default Went there today

The place is much bigger than I imagined. Parked a block away. Wait was 1 hour 15 minutes.
We went to the bar below and got drinks. Bloody Mary was $12. You got a skewer and go to a table where you can add shrimp , olives, and about 12 other items. We were called to our table in 45 minutes. Great service (Tracy ), Very good food. Dinner for 2 plus 20% tip was $48. Lots of young people at the downstairs bar.

Wife and I went there for the first time. Great bartender and loved the appetizers. The garlic fries were the best I've ever had. Great view of the lake. All in all a very enjoyable afternoon, but they are very busy!

Smile Eaton Beach

This is a fairly new restaurant where the food is excellent. The chef was trained in France, then resided in New Orleans making his menu meals a combination of French/Southern. The macaroni and cheese is the best I have ever had, the shrimp and grits are exceptional. You can sit upstairs view water views, or drive your boat up the the docks. There is a sizeable beach for the kiddies. Saturday night had a 4 hour wait (not kidding), so we came back during the week for lunch.
