Turner’s in Leesburg will only seat parties of 2or 4. It’s nice and quiet.

I wear hearing aids in both ears, and I take them out in most Villages eateries because of the noise levels. Horrendous.

What is dine and dash? Does that mean they don't leave a tip?

Means they don't pay the bill at all.. They eat (Dine) then run out the door (Dash)..

Could an alternate answer possibly be "loud and rude"?

This visit we happened upon happy hour. Not our usual time, but we had just finished golf. The noise level was more than you could imagine. Watched 6 tables leave before ordering. Will not go during happy hour again.

Our waiter apologized every time he came to the table.

I felt bad for the wait staff losing customers, and did see a dine and dash by 3 older women. I felt so bad for the waitress, we gave her a tip even though not our server. Not the first time we have been in a restaurant for a dine and dash
So you're really saying that these three women ate and then left without paying? How do you know that?

How does one know this, Because they sent the waitress to get something and while she was in the kitchen, they did the dash. Waitress came back to table with updated bill and they were gone. She and 2 staff members went to parking could not find them. Our waiter told her they would all help pay the bill, When this happens usually waitstaff has to pay the bill. We left extra to help her cover

We adjusted our eating schedule long ago to avoid the wait time, crowds and noise level. We have our main meal between 2 and 4:30 and something light in the evening....

That makes too much sense. Are you sure you live in The Villages?

Thanks. I wasn't doubting you; I wanted to know how they managed that.

I guess you could always call Fenney Grill: (352) 330-0998. Doubt if the whining on here will accomplish anything....……………….

Management knows, they are there, along with all the waitstaff, who apologized every time the go to a table. They also know how many walk out without ordering due to the happy hour noise from the bar. They are looking into finding a solution, to keep the bar crowds happy, and keep those who would like to enjoy a meal.
We love eating there , will just adjust our time to after happy hour. Makes a huge difference. It’s not whining, just a heads up if you want to have a conversation.

Never heard the phrase "dine and dash", but I figured it out. I could never do that.
