True what did good old Jupiter do to deserve that?

You were right the first time! Well for some villagers everything is golf car accessible. I’ve seen them driving down 466-A like nothing’s wrong .

Half right-----First Watch at Trailwinds is NOT golf cart accessible, however the one at Spanish Plaines is.

I'm not a fan of grits. I also don't really go nuts for biscuits, I'm more of a rye toast kinda gal. I've looked at their menu and none of it appealed to me. If I'm paying $10+ plus tax and tip, it'd better be exactly what I want, all of what I want, and none of what I don't want.

So I go to Darrell's instead.

Been to First Watch, that was phenomenal, though again - very expensive. But at least it had what I wanted, which was...

1 or 2 eggs
toast with real dairy butter
home fries
bacon

I wouldn't eat there regularly because of the price. But it's a nice treat once in awhile. Their bacon is soooo good.

Great breakfast.

And I would have taken you for an avocado toast, fruit and granola girl. A lesson to all-----see what happens when one "assumes":1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

We also had a terrible experience the last time we were there. Didn't go back.

Good gawd, another damning of a restaurant. And now you think by doing that, a revolution will start with people en mass whining about how they’ll never go there again when they probably never went to the Flying Biscuit anyway.

BTW, on my way to work today, I stopped in the Marathon station at Lake Deaton Plaza and got a pop tart and a diet Mtn. Dew; in and out in less than 2 minutes. It satisfied my hunger and the cost was less than $5.

You peoples standards are way too high.

What kind of pop-tart?

I went and looked at a map. It seemed like you could get there from behind the place. I guess not...

Goes to show, I should never question me... :icon_wink:

Ah.. THAT's the one I must have seen on the map... Near Spanish Springs?

I checked because I WAS thinking about the Trailwinds one (which I thought was not golf cart accessible)...

Well you do have the people who are mad because they had the nerve to criticize a restaurant.

Went here for a nice breakfast this am. 1st time here. Wait was expected & not too long. Hostess was very nice. Waitress was nice but obviously very busy. While waiting for our food, had to listen to the staff argue about buying tables & sharing tips. Finally a nice looking bisquit came out, way before breakfast. (Was cold by the time meal arrived) then the meal.....all eggs were ordered over easy - came out cold & broken. Bacon was a joke - cooked to death, shattered when touched. Also cold. Steak was so tough, could hardly cut it with a knife - eating it was not happening! So tough! Potatoes were overcooked & cold. Grits were Luke warm at best. Can't believe a restaurant can charge the prices they do & serve food so horrible! Worst in the Villages! Save yourself the time, money & grief....go somewhere else!

I don’t eat breakfast, so I’ve never been to a breakfast place here. In several of P.G. Wodehouse’s stories and novels about Jeeves and Wooster there are references to “The Drones Club,” where the unneeded younger sons of nobility (who are expected not to breed) go for fun. They throw buns at each other. I’m not sure why that is fun, or tasty. Did you see any flying biscuits at The Flying Biscuit, or was that also a disappointment? I’m imagining the biscuits flying around like little drones. (Not the younger sons of earls sort of drones.)
