Just remembered a place we have tried....Ye Olde Coffee Cup in Wildwood on 301. It's on the corner of 466A and 301. They have a small buffet and the meals are filling. Place is a little run down, but has been there for a long time. The chicken is good...not great, but good.

Haven't been there in awhile but the food is really good. More than a little run down but real southern cooking. Don't go if you have cholesterol issues.

Years ago there was a chain called Po Folks, and they had a location in suburban Bucks County PA. We loved going there (all you can eat, but not a buffet); fried okra, gumbo, fried apples, mac and cheese, hush puppies, and delicious biscuits. I wonder if they still exist somewhere?

Today, I took away a great batch from the Winn Dixie in Wildwood.

Just about everything the Cotillion in Wildwood prepares is very good, including their fried chicken. Since your handle is 'Hoosier Bob' try the Copper Kettle in Morristown, IN for excellent fried chicken the next time you are in the Hoosier State.
