I run our Friday neighborhood offsite golf group. We would go to Gio's the first Friday of the month for lunch with a group of 10-15, and would reserve the back room. Everyone enjoyed the food and service, and lots of us would buy food to bring home (great bread and pastry). We plan on going again as a group when everyone returns in the fall. When we have the family come over, the kids always ask us to get a Gio's takeout pizza. I can't recall a better thick or thin pizza in this area

Have always had great meals at both Giovannys and Gios. Their pizza, by my account and many other reviewers, is best in The Villages. Many on this post talk about everything except the food and the service.
Just look at how busy they always are.

Ive noticed that most restaurants in TV can be quite loud. Not sure why this is?

Hearing aids not on.

Gio's is one of our favorites also.

That location would be interesting. Since Bingham Trail is 25 mph, that location could be golf cart accessible.

Bingham is off limits (at this point) to golf carts. Most folks can’t drive 25 mph anyway. It’s single lane both directions. I don’t believe there is room to widen it for golf carts.

Love Gio's!

I heard a rumor that Gio's was coming to the new strip mall being built on Bigham Trail off Warmsprings between Fenney and DeSoto. Perhaps this can answer the OP on one of their questions, although I've seen nothing concrete on this... just a rumor.

I hope your rumor mill is correct! Love their fresh mozzarella and fresh baked bread! Long drive for me so Warm Springs would be perfect!!

Being from NYC (Queens) for 7 years I am a bit surprised you would say OK...I thought (based on only 3 visits) is was barely passable. Maybe I'm used to the sandwiches and subs up in NYC and the North End of Boston. Small sandwiches but amazing zucchini fries.

Their signature Italian was no better than Subway.

They have great meats in the case and cheeses. Go for those for sure.

Too far for us in TV but Paul's Deli in Kississimme is great. Small hole-in-the-wall run by 3 sons and their mom. Nothing fancy but we gladly drove 45 minutes from west Orlando to go there 3-5 times a year.

A few months ago, we ordered online from Gio's. There was a notice on their site that stated Gio's moving is a rumor. It went on to state that they will continue to serve as in the past, same hours, with no interruptions.

If you compare food here to what we grew up on in NY not even close but we have had to adapt and lower our expectations.

Only Nappolinos will serve bread with a crust. How does an Italian restaurant serve bread with soggy crust. Sad.

This is one of the attractions to making my own garlic bread by using sub rolls from Publix. Their sub rolls have a pretty good crust.
