We recently moved to the Villages from Ocala,
On move in night we drove by Cheng's. It's tradition on move in night to have Pizza or Chinese. We picked Cheng's

It was a packed house. Not a lot of tables.
Food was the best Chinese seat down we've had in years. We are so tired of buffets. This was a pleasant change to order from a menu and sit down. All of the tradition style Chinese family restaurants are long gone.

We ordered: House special soup for two(Feeds four), pork fried rice,
sweet and sour chicken and a few other sides.Again, just our opinion. The food was great and fresh. Staff was great!

We have return 3 more times within a month.

When going to Cheng's with another couple it's fun to order four different entrees and sharing. Also, their egg drop soup is quite good.

Another good sit down restaurant with a variety of Asian food is Koyame in Spanish Plaines Shopping plaza off of US HWY 27/441. See their menu at KOYAME

You must move a lot to have a tradition?
