Thumbs up Good Experience

A couple of days ago we were in Lake Sumter and wanted to have a snack. We have lived in the Villages for a number of years and are, we thought, knowledgeable regarding places to eat and Johnny Rockets was one we had only eaten at once quite a few years ago and felt it was a sort of commercial food place and mainly good for tourists. So it was low on our list of places to eat.A couple of days ago we wanted a quick lunch and decided it would be easier to just have a bite there. Surprise !!, the rolls were terrific a bean sandwich was very good, again a terrific roll and the "hot dog" was Nathan's and very well cooked. Wow, it was a very good lunch with very good fries. Soo, we decided to try it again the next day to make sure it had been good and not because we were hungry and we added the fried onions. It was the same good lunch and the onions were just as they should be. It is not suppose to be fine dining and it lived up to what you would want as a very good place to have a good lunch.

They have a "Gardien Black Bean Burger" for the vegan crowd.

I eat breakfast there depending on where I'm golfing that morning. Always good food and service but I wished the air conditioning gets fixed soon. I can't imagine having to work inside there all day.
