Default Hacienda Hills Restaurant Improved

Had dinner on 11/6/18. Six tables occupied. The renovated dining room is very nice. Waitress told us they have sound proofing panels being installed to cut down on the noise level.

Husband had NY Strip Steak medium rare and I had chicken bruschetta both with double vegetables, since we are doing low carb. The steak and chicken were both good, the green beans very good. Chicken was $13.95 - 2 half breasts. More than enough food.

House wine was quite good. I can't remember the brand but I had the pinot noir house and it was above average.

There were only 6 tables occupied. Waitress was very nice - Alicia- gave us a 10% coupon for the Sunday brunch.

Entertainment was Gretchen who performed pop standards - very good and the volume was perfect.

Hopefully The Villages will give them a try again.

Thanks for the review, HH is close to our house, it's nice to have a good close option that's not overly crowded. Despite all the negative reviews I have read on another thread, we will give it a shot.

According to the online news they were shutdown last Friday after failing a health inspection. The roaches found in drawers on the cookline is especially troubling to me.

Here is a link to the inspection that was done on the 16th which caused the place to be shut down.

Too much bad news about country club restaurants in TV. Maybe the "Developer" needs to take them back too. Sadly we feel more comfortable in the "Chain" establishments . Incredible deterioration in CCs since we moved here 8 yrs ago.

anxiously awaiting the re opening of the Lopez Legacy CC restaurant. We've been told late December to early January. Complete re model of the bar, dining rooms and kitchen.

You’ll need to wait until they reopen they have been shutdown due to many violations. Read the article on the villages news

They are open. Four of us had dinner there two days ago... Monday evening. No complaints. Good food and good service.

They just got shut down for many health code violations, including roaches.

Did Thanksgiving at Hacienda. Had reservations before the shutdown and decided that if the place was ever going to be on good behavior, it would be after reopening. Buffet was outstanding. Service "acceptable After dinner we were anticipating dessert. What a disappointment.
They set out commercial type pies . You know the ones in tin plates. They had just come out of the fridge and were cold. Not very good stuff , but could have been made marginally palatable if taken from the fridge earlier and allowed to warm to at least room temp.

Management, management, management ???
