There are many times I would like a beer rather than some sweet drink with my meal, but I also do not want to be consuming alcohol. That's when I like a non-alcoholic beer. I, unlike some, drink beer for the taste, not the buzz.

If I am the designated driver, the I get very happy with a non-alcoholic beer rather than sipping my Shirley Temple thru a little pink straw. 🍺🍹😝

The best Non intoxicating beer I have had.

Clausthaler Dry Hopped. Great amber beer. IMHO

Those who say NA beers have no/less taste than alcohol beers have probably never tried the NA brews from Athletic Brewing out of CT. Their "Run Wild" IPA is quite flavorful.

Connecticut’s Athletic Brewing does one thing and one thing only: NA beer with a craft-brewery mentality. That means there are many different types of beer available, like the IPA. "The heavy malt in this brew is awesome because it actually tastes like a West Coast American IPA," says Kevin Bradford, a partner of Harlem Hops. "It’s the best NA beer I have ever tasted." Perfect for fans of craft beer, these NA beers are created with the idea that, just because there’s no alcohol, doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice flavor or variety.

Non-alcoholic beer has alcohol

Non-alcoholic beer still has some alcohol. (.5%)

There are many great non alcoholic beers on the market , I enjoy Clausthaler, Becks , Heineken , that said I only have one when I just want a beer taste , I don’t see the point in having more then one , that’s for real beer drinking which I don’t do much of because I just love my straight vodka. It never crossed my mind to even ask why it’s not included in happy hour . FYI I stopped going to Arnold Palmer when they started the surcharge I used to go a couple of times a month

Because it tastes good and I don’t need the buzz

I'll pass. It may be good, but "athletic" and "run wild" make me think taste and smell of sweaty gym shoes, socks and jockstraps. Ugh! Too many other good choices. 😖😋😕👅

When I was down here looking for a home I sat outside at Red Sauce and was surprised how low prices were for beer. There was a lady sitting next to me that worked in some capacity for the developer. She said the developer had the mindset of "keep them drunk and they will remain happy"

Except "The Developer" does not own nor run Red Sauce...

But if I have to drink 80 NA beers to get as happy as one regular beer, shouldn't they expect NA drinkers to drink more?

No kidding, I think we were talking about the cheap drinks and extended happy hours that were prevalent when the developer essentially owned and ran most of the restaurants and country clubs before they started leasing them out. Back when I was talking to this lady, even though the developer had started leasing the facilities out instead of renting them, you could find beer for under 2 bucks (and in some places 1 dollar beers) pretty much all day and all night if you traveled around.
