Harry's
Went to Harry's in Ocala for lunch. It's a high end Cajun influenced restaurant. We loved it. Staff was friendly, will go beck again.

Went there--really good--when you don't have chain restaurants--you get some really different dining

We were there Monday for lunch. Best shrimp and grits I have found so far.

I too enjoyed Harry's....Also have one in St. Augustine. But "high end" -- I don't think so!

Lakeland Jacksonville Tallahassee St. Augustine Ocala I agree the food is very good, but not high end. Don't be afraid that the prices are high. Actually, they are very reasonable for the quality. |

have been three times - ok but not clearly not as good as my friends lead me to believe.
IMO too far to drive for OK.

The ambiance at the St. Augustine location is wonderful, better than Ocala. I prefer the Shimp and Grits at Hemingway's as Harry's spices are not balanced to my taste. Everyone has their own opinions, so if you like theirs, good for you. I did not like that dish at Eaton's Beach or The Lighthouse. Like I said, everyone's taste buds are different.

And if you go to Harry's - get on their mailing list and often receive $10 off $25.00 or more. Plus if you complete the survey (info on receipt) free dessert item off the menu.

Just got back from there at 8:30 tonight. IMHO food is better than OK and urban atmosphere is a nice change of pace. Worth the trip every once in a while.

We were a party of 4 for early dinner (4 :15 pm) and the place is great. I loved the bar area where we had the round booth , that was super to see and talk to all. The rest of the place had a real good feel to it. Our server really helped to make this a fun experience and had a playful attitude. She knew all the dishes as we all had many choices we wanted to try. We held off on getting a appetizer but they were tempting. Next time for sure.
Shrimp and scallops, pork tenderloin, salmon, chicken Harry and chicken Joliet made up our selections and we all passed around samples. A wonderful experience for all....try it |

Love Harry's shrimp and crawfish pot pie. Not on the menu all the time. At one time Harry's was attempting to open a place in TV however could not get an deal with TV that was agreeable. Too bad.
