Chatbrat - how has Hemingways cut back on their premium liquor? Are certain brands not available? If so, which ones? Aren't all liquor brands available for Happy Hour or what?

Hemingways HH was changed to draft beer , house wine and I believe well liquor. They use to include everything on Happy Hour. I will talk to the bartender this evening to find out the current policy.

Default Happy hour, really?

My experience with happy hour at most places is seeing it as a marketing
come on. For example, Gators twofer. Two drinks for double the price of one, take it or dont. Evans and co-operated clubs: happy priced beers all day at 2.25. And the rest of the time? Still 2.25.
The bar kiosks at the squares are a real happy hour deal, but watch out you don't get over-served.

Nolet gin? Could you elaborate, please? I've never heard of it.

Gin prices
Average Gin Price. The average cost of gin depends on a number of factors; the brand of the gin, the age of the gin, and the establishment in which it is sold or served. Gin typically sells for $10 to $40 plus. Some of the cheaper brands are Seagrams and Booth’s.

Nolet's is about $40.

Yes I know Henry. Most people don't brag about how much they pay for something. I had to look it up because I hadn't heard of it either.

I don't drink anymore. I never was any good at it.

Thanks, Gracie. I like Bombay gin (regular, not the sapphire, which is like fire water), made with many botanicals. If it's good enough for the Queen of England, well then, it's good enough for me!

I'm a Bombay Dry drinker as well..............hate when they start adding flavoring like Sapphire and many others.

I'm surprised I like Booth's on my ice as well.
