Senior villages women!

Pommom91 07-16-2024 04:33 AM

The employment application consists of them handing you a bra & saying here, fill this out. 😜

Didn’t see that one coming.

I would no more go to a restaurant called Hooters than I would use the slang term Hooters. Nothing against owls, but then they don’t have owls as waitresses. I like to treat waitresses with respect, not ogle their hooters.

Ele201 07-16-2024 04:46 AM

That’s surprising, considering Hooters has been closing restaurants across the country. That includes one in Lady Lake.

ithos 07-16-2024 04:55 AM

The more sports bars the better. Chances are they will have all the NFL games.

Ignatz 07-16-2024 05:12 AM

We had been to a couple of Hooters locations back in the 90’s and have no desire to return.

The food was comparable to school lunch quality. Scenery aside, nothing appealed to us to return and spend money there.

Have to admit that I was surprised to see them wanting to open a place in TV. But hey, who knows what chain will take over the building in a few years.

Rwirish 07-16-2024 05:12 AM

Didn’t see that one coming? It was in the paper over a year ago that Hooters was planning a restaurant in TV. The potential location, however, was not announced.

We often go to Hooters just for the breaded wings and curly fries.

Once you go naked wings, you never go back. Why cover such lovely specimens? As a really good cook lady friend always said, you eat with your eyes, too. Damn, was she right.

To have any chance....it’s gotta be near Eastport/Middleton. IMO

Have you seen the Villages Calendar Girls? I would go every week if they were the servers!

The poster said they rarely post. That does not mean they rarely come to the site or rarely laugh at the amateur comedians.

I knew where this thread was going to go when I read the headline and I am reading the posts the same as I used to read the articles in Playboy. Hustler, on the other hand…

johnblackwell 07-16-2024 06:51 AM

I too want to enjoy the rest of my life, and I enjoy the smiles of attractive young women. They remind me of the good old days when such smiles were genuine.

I too find it strange (and sad) how many people are hostile to others' enjoyment.

Why not? It suits most Villagers.

Exactly
Interesting to see a certain poster asking another to 'filter' what they read. What a way to navigate life!

Food at Hooters has always been good, especially their chicken sandwich and their wings.

I’m looking forward to another good food option.

Stu from NYC 07-16-2024 08:01 AM

Variety of restaurants is a good thing, do not understand why people are so hostile to Hooters?

Dinner time came to pass so we guys cleaned up the kids and took them to the nearest restaurant, Hooters. Four guys with eight pre-school aged kiddos. The wait staff treated us like royalty. And, they had high chairs for the babies. Hooters is a great place.

Ohiobuckeye

Used to go to Hooters for their sandwiches, now I go to “Twin Peaks” pretty much like Hooters but a lot cheaper & more things happening. Hooters is OK because I don’t think Twin Peaks can go that far East & South. But that’s great, it’ll make us old guys feel young, LOL!

No we got it....

More ‘amateur comedian’ content that the poster he responded to....doesn’t appreciate!

We have seen quite a few young ladies working as restaurant servers would be appropriate for the position.

Perhaps I should set up an employment agency to put Hooters in touch with their personnel needs?

I'd be happy to assist with the initial interviews if you'd like.

There would be a few more or less nominal fees that would have to be paid as part of the interview position in order to secure a position with my new firm.

I remember taking my older two girls (aged 8 & 4 at the time) to Hooters, to have lunch and let me watch a football game.

It was like bringing puppies to the park! The waitstaff fawned over them all afternoon. The girls ate their fill of wings (it took a dozen wet wipes to clean them up), and I got to watch most of my game...

When we got home, SWMBO was not thrilled at my choice of restaurants, but the girls raved about how much fun they had and I lived to see another day...

We saw them at a club on South Street, when we were first married and I was still in school ('82-'83?)...Just before they had their first big hit...

I remember my dad taking me to see the movie the sting when I was too young to see it. even to this day I think back on that and wonder why in the world he thought bringing a young girl to see that movie was a good idea. I realized at that moment, even being young, dad was being selfish. It’s a weird but true memory.
