Default Hot dog Vendor at Sumter Landing

I have been at Sumter Landing five times for the bands and have not seen the hot dog vendor. I really liked his dirty water dogs. Anyone have an update?

The movie theater ran the stand. It was the best hot dog in The Villages. The guy there told me that I'll have to get my hot dog inside the theater after it closed. Not the same.

Best hot dog? Try the hot dog wagon near the water tower on CR 466.

I disagree; the best hot dogs are from the guy out in front of Home Depot. With the works, including sauerkraut! And a Coke, and corn chips.

Actually " In " The Villages the Shell Station on 466A next to Public ...I do emphasize " In " The guy near the Water Tower on CR 466 is excellent as well.

Oh, yeah! Those are the best. I try to schedule a trip to Home Depot around lunchtime occasionally and when I get home Mrs. KC will say "you got a hotdog, didn't you"?

Okay folks - this is serious. I just realized - Hummel Hot Dogs are a local thing here in New England. I doubt they have them in Florida. I also just checked, and a 5-pound box of skinless would cost $65 to ship Fedex to The Villages. The dogs themselves are only $17.99 for the 5lb pack.

So anyone here who's from New England and KNOWS Hummel Hot Dogs - is there anything down there in TV that compares?

Steve the hot dog guy, I was told it was a decision made by the new director of the villages, I’ll assume it’s the same person that made the ridiculous decision to change the vendor nights in the squares. Steve hasn’t been selling hot dogs for a few months sometimes change isn’t good.
