Only have pizza on days that end with a y.
|
We eat pizza at least 3 times a month. Personally we like Papa John's Pizza. We order the meat with extra cheese. Price is good for a large.
|
Minimum of 3 times a week - cheese pizza. Used to be a mostly at Pauly's and Bravo. Been to Flippers twice and I love it. It also helped that I had "free pizza for life" at Pauly's before they went out of business. I was their first customer.

Every day if I could but once a week is the norm

flipflopz.... Publix sells fresh pizza dough in the bakery section(sometimes we have to ask for it). It's just a ball of dough....you roll it out, thick or thin. It' s pretty good. Publix also sells premade pizza crusts, like Boboli brand. I personally don't like them but it's an option if you dont want to make the crust from scratch.

Flip I have to agree with Cathy. Publix's pizza dough is pretty good and that's ALL I use when I make my pizza at home because in my eyes I MAKE THE BEST PIZZA down here lol

Let me first say I do own a restaurant here in the villages. However I DO NOT serve pizza. With that being said. Gracie, I use shredded mozzarella, Fresh shredded parmesan and the key is to brush on some extra virgin olive oil on the crust which helps make it a bit crispier. Of course you can add whatever topping you want on your pizza. I prefer Sausage and Pepperoni with some fresh pressed garlic. :icon_hungry:

How often ? 4-5 times a month I love PIZZA
Toppings: pepperoni, cheese |
I agree-- brush the dough with extra virgin olive oil to make it crispy. I use fresh buffalo mozzarella (from Fresh Market) or the shredded mozzarella and fresh shredded parmesan.
Also,Lions Den, you do have a Very Good restaurant. I'll come in soon. Maybe, since you make the BEST PIZZA at home, you should add it to your menu.......YEAH ! |
Living in Rome, we eat Pizza about 6 times per month.
Normally go to a small Mom and Pop type place with a wood burning pizza oven. |
Whole Wheat pizza with fresh mozzarrella, fresh ricotta and eggplant from Corato's on Metropolitan Avenue in Ridgewood, Queens, NYC. Haven't had a bite of pizza sice I got here, and seriously doubt that I ever will...

California Pizza
I have pizza very seldom because of the calories.:sigh:
but about once every 2 months I splurge and buy my favorite at Publix!! California White Pizza. (not as good as the real thing, but.. too much trouble to make for one person) Love their fabulous crust with spinach, sauce, parmesan, romano and mozzarella cheeses. Might sound wimpy, but I love it!!! I know I am missing out by not going to a pizza place which I, at one time, went many times. Any of you ever tried or eaten at a California pizza place? Yum |

You guys are too funny. :1rotfl: Quote:
I was in Chicago twice and loved the deep dish pizza. A lot of places in New York. Anthony's in Ft Lauderdale is very good. This comes from a person who never saw a pizza he didn't like. It has to be awful to be memorable. Then again, my taste buds are not very selective. :mmmm: |
