And if you do break down and go for McDonalds I suggest going to any of them EXCEPT
the one at Colony. I've tried it 4 or 5 times. The last time I went in was just to show a friend that I was not exaggerating.
The drive in was not busy and the place was nearly empty (about 3pm)
I ordered a burger (no custom request) and a drink. 12 people in the kitchen began moving about yelling out my order and everyone went to work on it.
Bustling about I waiting about 7 minutes and finally the burger arrived. Trouble with the cashier who would not look or talk to me. Finally after ten minutes I paid and got a burger that looked like it was stepped on.
Worth going to just for the laughs. I'm a huge fan of the chains as I drive cross country often. Subway, Panera, McDonalds are life savers. But something is in the water in Colony.
