I know burgers aren't healthy for you but if you were looking for an oustanding burger, would you go to Ruby Tuesday, Fridays, or Nancy Lopez? I purposely left out Beef O'Gradys because I haven't found their burgers memorable.

I had a very good burger at Glenview a week ago...the black and bleu burger with bleu cheese. Someone said they use Angus beef. Never had a burger at Lopez, but, the mushroom brie soup is to die for.

Between TGIF and Ruby's I can't think of any memorable differences...both were good.

Have you ever had the burger at McCall's Tavern (aka bowling alley), or Crazy Gringos? One Friday night in Feb, we tried CG but after sitting for 20 minutes waiting patiently for a menu, we just decided to leave. With McCalls, we'd been there several times. For the most part, it's very loud but the food was OK for pub food. Like so many places in TV, everything seems better out of season when they're not overcrowded.

I'm not surprised that both Glenview and Mallory had good burgers. They both had the same management.

While I'm putting several restaurants on the table, has anyone tried the new Golden Corral on 466?

If you get to Leesburg, try the Ramshackle Cafe. It's always full for a good reason. Food and service both terrific.
I said "always full" but really we've never had to wait for service.

Never had a Bubba Burger but if you are eating a burger what do you care about fat!! As long as you skip the fries. BTW - where do you get a Bubba Burger? I am a McDonald's man.

I like the McCall's burger and they have REAL french fries - um um good!!

The Glenview burger is also great - especially on Saturday when you buy one and get one!! The only catch is you have to get a pitcher of beer. Well - twist my arm!!

Curious? Who makes the Bubba Burger, Ramshackle Cafe? ZCaveman, I'd be only too happy to help out with that pitcher. Friends have raved about the burger at Nancy Lopez.

Publix carries Bubba Burgers. They come frozen in a box.
