I remember going to the grand opening of the store in front of Target, must of been six years ago. I can't begin to count how many times I've eaten there or how many free sandwiches I've gotten with the points. The new one I can almost walk to, been there opening day, last Monday with my wife, and last Sunday before football. It's going to be a new tradition, going on Sundays and having a Sub before NFL Football. Randy who was the manager of the other store is now area manager of both. He was there on Monday and remembered exactly what we both eat, a #3 regular on white and a #7 mini on white.

I lived across the street from a WaWa in Baltimore, it opened in 2004 and I moved here in 2011. In those 7 years I probably had a couple of hundred subs there. For some reason, I had one here at WaWa and I thought it was terrible. The bread wasn't as fresh, they just didn't get it right. Thank Heaven for Jersey Mike's.

My first real experience with sub sandwiches was in 1969, when I was 19 years old. My cousin Billy opened the first sub shop in Ocean City Maryland in 1963. In '69 he asked if I wanted a summer job, so I went up to Baltimore on a train and then a car to OC and had a great 4 months at Billy's Famous Subs. Jersey Mike's is the closest thing to those subs. Billy's is still there, it has moved from the boardwalk to 140th Street many years ago. Unfortunately Billy passed on last year.

We think a WaWa Sangwich is the bomb because they are consistent and delicious. Only one problem from where we live to get to WaWa you have to get past Culvers, we can't get past Culvers.

Try Jersey Mikes, you will probably love it.
The tuna is my favorite also...Culvers not so much
