I like Jimmy Johns Italian Sub. I also like Jersey Mikes (I actually grew up in Pt. Pleasant, NJ where Jersey Mike's orginated)

Default Jersey Mike's

Then Jersey Mike's came to town and I tried them and like them even better than Publix. So I've been going there.

I've been seeing some ads for Jimmy John's and have been thinking about trying them out. Has anyone had their Italian subs? How do they compare to Jersey Mike's?

For health reasons I only have one about once a month so I'd rather not waste it on something that's not going to be good.
I my opinion JM's by far above JJ. Better ingredients and choices. NO 1 all the way with relish and mayo, can't beat it.

Smile jj vs jm?

JJ is very good and meaty and its roll is tasty with a reasonable price. I did not try JM yet and will try soon. Px is not so thick with meat. Chas, Polo Ridge

Go with Jersey Mikes and Be sure to get it “Mike’s way”. You’ll never go back to Subway or Jimmy John’s.

I have to throw my hat in the ring for Jersey Mike's and honestly not really that close for me.

Your Firehouse review threw me a bit. I'm a fan....that said I've never had the Italian sub there.

In conclusion, try Jersey Mike's I'll bet you won't be disappointed.

Try the Italian subs at Giovannys or Gios or Robertos. Italian sandwiches made by Italians. Much better than the others mentioned here

You people are a piece of work.

Does anyone answer the man's question????

FTR stay with Jersey Mike's, Jimmy John's is okay. That said there are better sub places as others have mentioned while not answering the question.

Agreed. But what's worse is no one let me know if the employees took a knee during the National Anthem. How can you pick the correct sub w/o that valuable piece of information?

If I wanted to know whether sandwich A or sandwich B tastes better and I had already tried sandwich A, I would just go and try sandwich B.

In my humble parochial opinion, the best Italian sandwich in the world is the New Orleans version, the Muffaletta....and not the one from Central Grocery but the one from the little hole-in-the-wall, Verte Marte. You cannot get there by golf cart.

Growing up in Connecticut the only place to go in the whole state is Wooster street in New Haven.
Amazing Italian food bakery’s, Delis, Pizzas and Restaurants.

Best grinder here is at Stavros in Fruitland Park.
Went to JM twice and both times they put the bread right on the counter, no paper under it - gross.
