have to agree food is awful. Last time we ate there (four of us) I had to send shrimp back. It was rock hard. Then they sent out a fresh one. I knew the shrimp had sat in back for sometime. How dare they even try to serve it to someone?? Someone else may Not have spoken up. I do. And someone mentioned you get what you pay for. the pizza at dinner time you can do better with frozen from supermarket. Also $7.00 for a slice of cake is NOT reasonable and should be absolutely delicious for that price and its an average piece of carrot cake. They most likely are more concerned with selling drinks then pleasing the diners. Better quality is needed if they want customers to return.

We've never had a bad meal at Katie Bells. Not great but not bad either. When we have guests from the north we sometimes take them Katie Bells and when they are in TV for another visit it's not unusual for them to ask to go there. The entertainment is what makes the visit worthwhile, not the food.
As someone who has worked in restaurants years ago, I would never, ever send the food back to the kitchen. Likewise, I would never berate a server, bartender or anyone else who handles my food or beverage. I've seen firsthand what happens when food goes back to the kitchen or you pi$$ off your server and it ain't pretty and it happens everywhere. If I'm unhappy with a meal I'll talk with the manager before leaving and try to get something taken off the tab or get a freebee for a return visit. You'll never win a battle with the restaurant staff. You may think you have but they know better.
