Default Koyame

We both love this restaurant. It's the best Chinese food in the area.

But tonight I ordered Red Chicken Curry and what I got was not curry. It was more like very spicy chicken and vegetables in chicken broth.

The funny thing is that it was very good. It's just that it wasn't curry. There was no curry flavor to it at all.

I remember I tried Pad Thai there once before and was disappointed. Maybe it's just that they don't do Thai food very well.

Yup, great Chinese food. I would just recommend that you don't order any of their Thai dishes.

Dr. Boogie: No problem. Chinese at Koyame (love their hot and sour soup), and Thai at Thai Ruby in SLS.

IMHO Both great food choices~

Default The Best

Ate there with friends last night and we all agreed that is is the best around. They call themselves Koyame and it says asian fusion on the menu. Their meals are so flavorful and beautiful on the plate. I took these photos last night as I love to photograph beautiful food. left to right Szechuan shrimp, sweet and sour chicken, szechuan chicken all with fried rice

How was the heat level of the Szechuan dishes? I prefer mine quite spicy and hot.

They come about medium but they will take your request to add more or less heat. Very flavorful.

Can someone please explain to me where this place is? I feel like I've looked for it before, with little success. Is it in a strip mall? What else is near it?

Just before you get to 441 and Cracker Barrel. It's in the strip mall where Ollie's, & First Watch are located. Go past these venues and continue down the parking lot. It sits back in a little bit. I think I remember a liquor store next to it also.

It's on the West side of 441 just North of The Villages Regional Hospital in the Spanish Plaines Shopping Center, near the Publix.
