Default Great steak??

My brother is coming to visit. He does love a good steak. Any recommendations? I would like to stay away from the steak franchises.

Turners Leesburg, The Rose Plantation Fruitland Park, Palmer The Villages, Mark's Prime Ocala. All four have great steak.

Mark's Prime Steakhouse in Ocala for sure. Palmer's steaks are hit or miss. Turner's Kitchen in Leesburg has excellent prime rib when served which should speak well for their steaks. Other than that the Orlando area has some fine steakhouses.

If you don’t mind traveling to Tampa go to Berns Steak House. Garuntee it is an experience you won't forget. They raise and age their beef. Pick your cut and size of steak then go upstairs to their dessert room

Arnold Palmer's has a filet mignon that melts in your mouth.....$40 and well worth it.

I agree. I bought two filet mignon's (on sale) from Publix a month ago and grilled them. They rivaled any high end steak house, and were much less expensive.

Too me, a "great" steak is aged. I don't know if you will find that locally..not saying you can't..just don't know. I do know you can get a great dry aged steak at DelFriscos Double Eagle Steak House in Orlando.

Tried them all, Berns, Turner’s etc but Marks in Ocala wins hands down. Berns longer drive and over priced. Marks expensive but well worth it.
