If you like oysters, try Oyster Troff in Eustis. They know how to shuck oysters. Unlike O'Shucks, who has trouble keeping up with demand when they get a little busy.

Try Pecks old Port Cove near Chrystal River on the Ozella Trail.........Google it for directions and menu. It's right on the water. I never had a bad meal there in over 8 years going there.

A great place but a little far is Corky Bell's in East Palakta.

Peck's is great, if you're in the neighborhood--you can't get there with a golf cart-oh' the shame

It’s like my grandma is back in the kitchen. The cake is that traditional 4 layer. Moist, good texture, fresh ingredients, and in the southern tradition a slice will feed 4 people.

In Inverness we love to meet our friends at the Pine Street Pub (actually located on Pine Ave., just around the corner from Stumpknockers). It has a nice, friendly vibe and excellent service, along with real good pub food. Not your typical pub.

We like going to Coach's in Inverness. 55 beers on draft and great food specials everyday. We went there Thursday, all you can eat peel and eat shrimp for 13.95 on Thursdays and if you show your Villages ID they will take 10% off your bill.
