Default Local restaurants

We like to get out of the villages once in a while to find some old fashion local restaurant, not 5 star but laid back local people.

Some examples are Alfies, Big Bob's, Stumpknockers, Crackers, Palm Garden, Jeremiahs, Coney Island, Lani's

Looking for ideas ?

Fisherman's Cove in Inverness. Not really that far on 44. It's the little tiny blue restaurant. Try the Shrimp!

Know them all but Lani's. Where is that? Also Fisherman's Cove is decent. Also like O'Shucks for Oysters, wings and burgers.

A little more upscale we like Turners, Goblin Market, La Cuisine, and Little Italy Deli. I believe Alfies has gone down hill over the past year so Big Bob's is our choice when going to Oklawaha. There are a couple of really good Greek restaurants in Crystal River if you like Greek food.

Eaton's Beach, and the one at the other end of that lake. I can't recall the name off the top of my head now.

Names?

If you want to eat with the 'locals', Fruitland Park Cafe on 441 between 466A and Walmart

Thanks,
Don

Mom and Dad's on 441 just south of 466, on the right.

Love their spinach lasagna.

Will try Red's and Pine St Pub, these are the type I am looking for. just far enough away from the villages but not too far. Thanks, keep the ideas coming.
