probably not. Too many other places to eat.

We’ve been to Longhorn several times and have always found it satisfactory. If you are expecting Morton’s or Ruth’s Chris, you are likely to be disappointed with everything but the check.

I care and wanted to hear about it. Since you don’t care the just go on by. What is the real issue, you can’t afford it or can’t afford to leave a 20% tip.

I hear you on that. Longhorn is at least close as you can park your cart and walk over easily.

I agree with this comment. Virtually no news etc from the OP. And why mention the 20% tip??? That’s our normal but - why include that in their post? Really…

Cash goes directly to the server. Tip on a credit card gets shared with everybody.

Legally, a shared tip pool can only include other tipped employees, not kitchen staff or managers. So, apparently, you are assuming that your server will be dishonest by stealing money from the agreed upon tip pool.

When servers have to tip out dont they have to distribute tips to lots of people behind the scenes or is that in other states not Florida?

No. It is Federal law that a tip received by a server is the property of the server, not the restaurant. If the restaurant requires a server to share their tip income with non-tipped employees, they are stealing money from the server. Pooling tips is legal, but the pool can only be shared among the tipped employees. The Department of Labor and the Fair Labor Standards Act define "tipped employees" as those who regularly receive more than $30 per month as tips.

As an Italian, we eat our salad after the main course.
I believe the "salad first" is to keep you occupied while waiting for the meal.
Different strokes..!

My daughter in Ohio is currently hosting a high school exchange student from Milan, Italy. The girl was amazed that people can take home left over food from their meals at restaurants. They don't do that in Italy, or at least Milan.
