Many seem to be asking the question.. to tip just in a manner of ways.. Bob Evans, Golden Coral. etc.. this
occurs at times before the meal was even served. Do this type of marketing and the answer is an auto NO!

There is one thing that's worse than this tip question at basically, the self-service restaurants mentioned previously.

It's when you pay cash and the wait person asks you if you "need" any change!
That kinda goes along with when they call you "Hon" or "you guys!"

With the continuing pressure to move the minimum wage to$15 per hour I suspect the food service industry continues its move to reduce that concern by promoting tipping. Tipping has become a right and not a reward for good service.

someone mentioned corporations controlling....well be wary of Goggle, Facebook, et al because they control the news and they know more about you than the NSA. I stay clear of these Silicon Valley giants .

Was never impressed with Panera

Just wondering, do you think these"tips" actually make it to the staff, IMHO-I really think the $$ is channeled to corporate-does anyone think the servers see the amount of tip #'s @ the end of the day?
