Walmart.com says the both Weller's can be bought in store.
Guess that makes Walmart Liquor stores high end. .

google et al are problematic but that's another thread.
booze has never been part of my life. I judge the quality and price by the appearance of the bottle |

Nearest Total Wine is 40 miles away .. I live in Atlanta most of time right now, and we have several Totals near me. While they have a great selection of Bourbons, Ive never seen Weller there.. Before taking the ride, i would certainly call and have them set aside .. I'd be especially surprised if they have the antique.. a quick search of altamonte springs total says that weller not available in the store ..
Popular small batches are hit and miss at total .. for example, they get small quantities of Eagle Rare, a great under 30 bourbon .. I;ve never seen willett there either, but they always have ample supplies of elijah 12 and 20, as well as woodford and others .. And to the wisecracking responders, no, they are not like Jim Beam .. I havent been down there enough to try and find hole in the wall package stores that might carry the "top shelf" bourbons. BTW, about 4 Christmases ago, my wife picked up two Pappy 15's for me at Total for an ungodly cheap price .. Good luck .. ill look you up before i go down next time to see if i can bring you something from Atlanta |

I do the same thing, especially with wine as it comes with some really neat labels. Beer is another story, there are too many brands and types of beer out there, would be very hard to choose what to drink so I don't drink any of it. A good fresh diet cola is what I like, 5 guys has a great selection in their machines. Diet caffeine free coke with vanilla is a good one. Back to the topic, the last time I drank bourbon was in 1966 split a fifth with a friend and haven't tried it since. I prefer white whiskey.

Go to Liquorama.net. They have it and will ship it. When ever I want something a bit unusual, they usually have it and at a decent price. Now if you really want a good bourbon try some Papa Van Winkle.

I use wine-searcher (yeah... I know you want spirits) to find stuff. Click on the link below. I specified "kentucky owl rye", "USA", "FL" and checked "include ship to".
wine-searcher Order your stuff and have it shipped to you. |

Actually with over 25 premium bourbons on my bar, Jim Beam still is the best. if it cost more it would be held in higher esteem. kind of like some wines.

I’ve bought both at ABC Liquor and or Winn Dixie. Love them both.

I agree Liquorama best source for good bourbon. Our son lives near bourbon trail, and brings down new releases.

Oh yes, when my son lived in Louisville I went on the Bourbon Trail 3 times and have a "free" T-shirt. Lots of interesting Bourbon available, but I am a Maker's Mark gal. Also love Larceny, Angel's Envy, Buffalo Trace and Eagle Rare. Obviously I prefer whetted Bourbons to Ryes.
