Default Love Cane Garden

I love Cane Garden's Sicilian meatloaf. Went there last night for dinner. Had the meatloaf and tomato bisque soup. Both were delicious. Very cordial bartender, Jimmy. I have never had a bad dinner or lunch at Cane Garden.

My favorite. Jimmy has been there forever and is a great bartender. I also love the pineapple in paradise salad with tuna salad and cottage cheese.

Us, too.

Unfortunately though, a while back, I developed an addiction to their onion rings. Best ever! I had to wrestle with myself. At least I shared. (sigh)

The first step is admitting you have a problem.

Thank you.

I know. I got so bad — (blush) — ohhhhhh, I pretended I would share.

THEN I started ordering them with a side of blue cheese dressing.

AND, yes, THEN I started to DOUBLE DIP.

I threw my nice manners to the wind! I knew I had smiled and said I would share. I knew better than to DOUBLE DIP! It was like I was using psy ops. But I could not help myself. Sharing would have meant fewer of those perfect Cane Garden onion rings for ME!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaugh!!! It has been a long time. I have been resisting. Now? (sigh)

Oh, yeah! Hand cut and battered. Only place in TV I know of that doesn't fry them out of a frozen bag.

Good to hear the kudos for Cane. It is our favorite of the Country Clubs, and a go to place in general. I hope the new owner spiffs up the décor a bit - it is looking a little shabby, but not enough to keep us away.

I love Cane, and the rings, too. But Square One also has great rings, and they told me that they only use a type of onion from Washington state.
