I personally do not go to Cane For the cheap prices on booze or their Over poor, I for one feel very lucky that I can afford to pay the extra two dollars for a drink if I so desire. I personally do not run around looking for specials and happy hour specials. So for those of you who feel opposite Then I do. Good luck and be careful driving home.I would like to thank you personally for informing me of your beer drinking habit. If I ever write a book I will be sure to include you in.I am really not trying to be snarky

We only drink high end booze, the difference for us is $20.00 for a double martini of Grey Goose-to quote the late Talulah Bankhead,"don't mind getting screwed if I'm enjoying it"--IMHO, you have to be fool to pay double for the same thing, especially if its a short pour @ the Cane ,we're getting a double for $10.00 @ other places its $20.00, less 2miles door to door put the car in auto-pilot and we're good to go

Now if they could do pizza like Mallory and bring back the Monte Cristo it would be even better.

My spouse loves these posts about high end booze. He was a bartender thru-out his military career in the O clubs on bases thru-out the country.... Bartenders love to play a game with the "high-enders"...... the bartenders pour the high end on the first drink only and from then on these people are payin the cost for high end for the regular stuff.... moral of the story.... you better be sitting close enough to watch the pour or you are throwing your money away.... and lining the pockets of the bartenders.... lol

I like the pizza at Cane Garden better than anywhere in The Villages, including Mallory. Thin crust with just the right amount of sauce and very consistent. Some places put almost no sauce on their pizza.

It the navy beer was called barley pop-by mid-westerners, cane pizza is close to NY, NJ style thin crust--but I do make the best pizza @ home from scratch-good pizza is not rocket science-good ingredients and a real high temp oven-makes it work

Wow this thread has really gone off the rail.

So what if some don’t like pizza at certain restaurants.

Apparently we need to shut down every establishment that serves any type of alcohol.

If we all enjoyed the same exact food they could just have one person running every restaurant.

But we do need to make sure SODA is always served.

POP. I'll go with gravy instead of (spaghetti) sauce, that's kind of cool, but it is POP, POP, POP. Nothing but pop.

Not sure what you mean? The thread is about Cane Garden. So, comparing their pizza and alcohol to other restaurants doesn't seem to be off the rail.

Couple of posts were deleted, after I posted, so unless you read the deleated posts you would not understand.
Posts were about one who loves a pizza from a certain place and one who thinks it soggy. One who drinks only pop, and one who enjoys going out for cocktails. It left being about cane garden couple of times.

The best of the country clubs. Food is very good , bar is too.
One small complaint......no wi-fi.
