It really does amaze me that this loyalty card has created so much buzz and attention. Especially from those that didn't buy it, have no intention on buying it and now are going to boycott those businesses because they don't like the idea of it.
Really ?? With all of the chaos & awful things going on in the world today, the important topic is complaining about something that you "aren't" going to buy. I don't get it, but I guess to each their own. I say, just don't buy it and let it be. |

The part that bothers me is when people say they are going to boycott all of those restaurants because they don't like it. |
"Loyalty Cards"

I think they'll change their minds when they realize their ovens have never been used and they would be eliminating a good meal over some ridiculous idea. |

Rubicon - like you, my wife and I prepare most of our meals. Quite honestly I think our cooking is better than that at some restaurants in the area. I don't anticipate buying a card either. However, I have enjoyed "watching" some of our fellow posters going off the deep end, so to speak. Best wishes to you and yours for a healthy and successful 2015! |

Someone said that $3 martini's were available again without buying a Discount Card.
I called Bonifay and a card is required to get the $3 price for a martini. |
If the only person you dine with at these restaurants is your SO then don't buy one. Get on line and wait for a table because the wait won't be too long.
But if you want to go to the front of the line with a reservation for your group, buy one. Your friends will appreciate your thoughtfulness. My friend bought one and I appreciate having a table after our group plays golf; winter, spring, summer or fall. All she has to do is call, and we'll be there. She's got a card. Ain't it good to know she's got a card. |
My dream is to have a POTLUCK DINNER with the Rubicons and the DBussones. and I can bring my Ohio cooking contribution, because we too, cook a lot at home because we like to.

"You are what you eat",,,seems fitting here,,,and it seems you, unfortunately are"eating crow'...sorry you had the problem. Your 'loyalty' should be rewarded by good food at reasonable prices, without being a card holding member. Gimmicks are never what they purport to be, thus, they are ..gimmicks..I sure won't go there if they lie to me,either, which is seems they did. Good Luck, and good eating.

We too purchased a Loyal Tee card in December and retained the brochure they gave out with it. It states "PRIORITY SEATING - RESERVATIONS AVAILABLE FOR GROUPS AS SMALL AS 4 GUESTS WITH 24 HOUR NOTICE.
Now the website as well as the restaurants are quoted as changing this to...30 minute before PROPRIETY SEATING. NO MORE RESERVATIONS - definitely a switch. I will not repurchase this card due to these deceptive practices. |
Yes - Lopez and Hemingway card are different and not affiliated with the other Loyal Tee card.

diversity
One of the best perks of living here is the colorful array of diverse people I am privileged to call my neighbors. Thinking of totv as a multi modal path for all to express their respective opinions. We went to Bonifay last night not crowded at all and had a great meal and friendly service. Lucky to wake up here every day . Love reading these posts!

Loyal Tee Card
I sent an email to Evans Prairie about the card with the question about the reservation issue. Within an hour I got a call from the Director of Operations, Jim. The reservation part of the card could not be executed correctly and it was changed to priority seating which means you can call ahead before you arrive. Jim also said if I was not happy with the change to go to any of the clubs and they would refund the $20 for the card. So anyone can just ask for a refund if you are not happy.
I was please with the offer of a refund but it has other benefits and the Loyal Tee card is worth it to me so I will not ask for the refund. |

They really are great people and Jim is a really nice guy ! I, of course, will keep my Loyal Tee Card as well. ;) |
Elderly Uncle
Had an Uncle who had farmed his whole life and was a wonderful old man. He was hurt one time and the Insurance Co. gave him a very generous settlement and he took it as an annunity. For years the Insurance Co. called on him to settle for a "Lump Sum". He had, what I consider a great response, "If it is good for you it must not be good for me and no". I guess this is a good position in a number of cases including setting up a program of charging a fixed price before you receive the service or food. I guess if it is good for them it must not be good for me.:icon_hungry:

We received an email tonight about the Loyal-T cards. They are eliminating the one month time span of accumulating visits to be rewarded. Now after 15 visits (no time limit) you will receive $15, $3 martinis and margaritas always for card members and call ahead priority seating. I bought the card on the first day to get priority reservations during SB season and these changes make it even better. (IMO)

So 15 visits saves you a dollar each time. Such a deal. 14 visits gets you zip.
Just say in. |
