Default Mallory Hill-Hacienda Hills-RJ Gators

Mallory Hill Country Club - had the wings on Monday. All you can eat, for $9.99 (I think that was the right price). Excelllent. Good service, bartender lived in the Chicago area for 14 years as a child and teenager, so I brought him up to speed about the Windy City. Thank you to the nice couple from Mallory Square who gave me their feedback about living in TV. The roof of their house was damaged in the 2007 tornado (after only living here for a few months), and even though their roof contractor jerked them around, they still love living in TV.

Hacienda Hills Country Club - 1/2 price burgers. Had the bleu cheese burger. Very good. Service could have been a tad faster, especially since they were not that busy.

RJ Gators -- had Mahi Mahi stuffed with crab meat. Very good. Good service. Thank you to the nice couple from Sable Chase who gave me their feedback about their experience living in TV for the past 18 months.

Don't know if they still do it, but if Oasis (poolside cafe) at Lopez CC still has the buy one get one free burgers on Fridays (I think starting around 3-4PM) plus outdoor music that's another good place to go.

And during the summer Nancy Lopez did have the all you can eat soup and salad for a lower price.... Mushroom soup is WONDERFUL!

Anyone know if they are still offering the special on soup and salad in the summer??

I loooove the tiki burger at Hacienda & HoneyBoy loves the Vinnie burger.
You can't beat the Beat the Clock menu at RJ Gator's. The most expensive item is $6
Mallory DOES have good pizza, and they have anchovies!
The $5 lunch specials at Glenview are tasty.
Red Sauce has their $7 pasta & bread & salad outside at the bar in the afternoons.

This place has so many choices! It costs more to cook at home... at least that's what I tell HoneyBoy.
