We go for the fried chicken and yes it’s a wait cause they make it fresh.

Damn, that was the reason we went there at least once a year. Usually brought a small group and made it worth it for them.

Also Tuesday night Blues Jams were good. Used to love the one at WOB with SSnakeeyez but it has gone away I guess. That was usually great.

I’ve been a customer and was looking forward to the change but we ate there last week and it was bad. Ordered steak nachos and the chips were stale, literally maybe 5 pieces of meat and hardly any other toppings. Yes they have chicken but only get 1 side (used to be 2) and raised the price a couple dollars. Very disappointed ☹️ On the plus side, the waitress noticed I didn’t eat the nachos and took them off the check which was very nice.

Last few times I had chicken there the pieces were very small. Used to be huge pieces of chicken. IMO Metro diner has very good chicken with very large pieces.

We were very disappointed. They ran out of chicken the night we went. Menu very limited, wine expensive, small pours. Won't go back until we hear better reviews.....

Went there the other day. 2 servers rolling into dinner. Lots of guests getting up and leaving. They should clean house, close for a week , hire new staff and re open

We were there last week and I knew something was different, the chicken was not good! The fried chicken was the best and only reason we went there!

We will try it, We loved it before ,Hoping the new owners try to improve on it. Reuben’s and tenderloins and of course their chicken!

McCall's is just OK now. Amazed at how few restaurants have a fried chicken dinner in The Villages. Metro Diner has a good one, and Demshar's had an excellent one but closed.

Went to McCalls last night. Chicken was great, as always. But, $4.19 for a coke, that was all ice, was out of line. Not happy!
