Default Trader Joe's

Does anyone know if there is a Trader Joe's
near TV? It would be fantastic to have
one right in The Villages.

What can one buy at Trader Joes? I kinda thought it might be something like Sams, which we have and Costco, which we don't.

I would think pretty good food! But, then again I'm hungry.

I use Google to try to find these kinds of stores that I'm familiar with. It's been asked over and over again---if Trader Joes would come here. The answer continues to be that there are no plans at this time.

Trader Joe's is a food market with a lot of interesting items. What I am going to miss is Wegmam's which is 5 miles from my house. There is a Whole Foods 45 miles from TV. How is Sweetwaters?

We don't have either in Alabama, but have been to Sweetwaters at TV and liked it. We like Publix's too! We have those here in Bama.

Default Trader Jose

The Fresh Market is very much like Trader Joes. You might want to give it a try.

I like Fresh Market and I definitely like Trader Joe's but I never have thought of them as being alike. When I go to Trader Joe's I feel I am getting a bargain, never feel that way at Fresh Market.

I agree with JSR22 - I miss Wegman's. Used to drive from Reading to Allentown to shop.

Agree...

Also, Sweetbay is a brand of the Maine grocery chain Hannaford's. It is smaller than a Publix and a bit pricier. Good wine selection (for a grocery store) though.

Went to Trader Joe's over the weekend to see what the fuss is about since I was sure that I missed something the first time.

Still don't get it. 90% of their stuff is available for less (much less in fact) at my local market (Market Basket). They have a large selection of their own cereals but that's no draw for me.

I guess I'll never understand the fascination.

Fresh Market is closer to Whole Foods in terms of style than it is Trader Joe's.
