The wife and I were not overly impressed with Metro Dinner. Mainly because of the noise level. We have not been there in a few months. However! I recently received a $10.00 coupon for a Metro. I think we will probably use it. I’ll say it first. We Villagers love a good coupon!

We have been to Metro Diner twice, once when it first opened and recently. Not much different. Food is mediocre at best. Had the chicken pot pie the second time......mostly sauce, not much chicken or vegetables. Can't remember what I had the first time. The server was very pleasant both times. We might use our $10 coupon and try something else.

First time I was with a girl friend for lunch, enjoyed it. Second time with other half for supper, did not enjoy it at all. Almost empty and food was just OK, but the server was great. Will not be back for a third try.

They run a chicken parmesan special every couple weeks (it is this week again) and we went again yesterday. This is the 3rd time we have had this dish. IT IS HUGE and me and the wife split it every time and it is all we can eat. 3 large chicken breasts, smothered in cheese and sauce with Linguine and 2 large pieces of garlic baguette. It is GREAT! We have tried some of the other dishes in the past and they were good but the chicken parmesan is awesome. Try it if you like chicken parmesan.

Doesn't matter, another corporate chain restaurant in the villages-la -ti -da --big deal !!!! What's to get excited about --would we see rave reviews if another Burger King opened up ?

It's on 466 next to McDonalds in front of Walmart, they're in the old Perkins Restaurant location. They spend several months remodeling, so it looks nothing like Perkins. They opened sometime last fall. As I said previous, what I didn't like was it was so noisy. Louder than any restaurant I've ever been in, and most of the servers and hosts seem to be running around. It was not a pleasant experience and I found the food to be similar to Bob Evans but not quite as good.
