Since you said you haven't been back in 7 years, how would you know?

You apparently have not read the original post that
started this thread which states

" the turkey was definitely processed meat and tasteless"

Thats how I would know.

Wanna bet the processed turkey surfaces on Christmas & Mother's day,too

Maybe they can't cook a turkey? I was banned several Thanksgivings ago from cooking the turkey.

In this community of 55+ I'm surprised that some still make the "rookie" mistake of eating out on holidays. You'll generally have much better luck if you go just before or after holidays.

We went to Havana for Thanksgiving food and service was excellent.

Hey give me a break. We just purchased at the end of June. Let me develop a track record first before you label me a complainer. But I stand by my comments. Bob Evans was comparable to Lopez but with larger portions at a third of the price. That said, we will try Lopez again but not on a holiday.

we are full time residents and have been for years. For us Nancy Lopez Legacy was always a very special restaurant with excellent food and service. We would go there for special occasions. Lunch is still decent but the last two dinners there in the last month were not good. It will be a long time before we go back there, if ever. We are definitely not naysavers!

Nancy Lopez Thanksgiving dinner was awful - party of 11 - would have been 13 at home so we went there. It was diner food at 35+ a head. Shame on Legacy

Hey don’t knock diner food. Just had a delicious stuffed turkey dinner at Laura’s Pleasant View Diner in Smithfield RI for the unbelievable price of $7.99. No processed turkey. I would have been more than happy to pay $35.00 at Nancy Lopez for this meal. My wife finished half of hers and I couldn’t quite finish mine and I’m a big eater. Just like home cooked.

Ps for anyone interested you can get Laura’s Wednesday turkey special by leaving the Villages early Tuesday, staying over in Virginia and arriving at Laura’s late Wednesday afternoon.

Tuesday night 42 of us had our 4th annual December dinner at Lopez. We always go there, then we go to one of the couples homes for after dinner drinks, desserts and a fun re-gift gift exchange. :D
A few people aren't totally happy with the prices, however, all of the meals were great, not one single complaint about the food. Our service was wonderful.
We all met between 5:00 - 5:30 for Happy Hour. Our reservations were for 6:30.

You always find so much fun in things and are a very helpful person to all of us when it comes to restaurant reviews.
