However, they seem to have a never ending supply of of take out boxes. By the way, if that party of four each ordered their own entrée, they would be given a check totaling about $75.

One other thing - how do two people share a large bowl of soup. They had better bring it with a ladle and two small bowls.

Offsetting the above is that the food is very good. But Yummy House is not P.F. Chang's
When customers balk at $15 for an entree, and $75 total for four people, is there any wonder why higher end restaurants are in the minority in The Villages?
Seems pile it high, and sell it cheap is the restaurant of choice for majority.

last time there I brought some people with us and bragged how good it was. It wasn't good at all.

Chinese food in China nothing like what we get here.
You know what they call Chinese food in China?

FOOD!

In the mean time, try Cheng's. It is next to NYPD off Rt 466 or across from the Walmart. It is a little small, but you can always get take out. I'd say try having it in the restaurant first to see what they have.

Yes I did so let me explain this to you.

All of the American fast food places have found their way to China so if you go to McDonalds it is not Chinese food.

Let me know if you understand this.

Well, Koyame was never a destination restaurant for us since the ambiance is not much. We have eaten there a number of times but mostly it has been a great place for takeout. I have gotten a takeout twice now since the new ownership took over. It has been just as good as before. Time will tell if it continues. We are very interested in what the new Kung Fu Chef restaurant will be like by previous Koyame owners.

Thanks for your post, hoping Koyame will continue to be the great place it has been for takeout. Not very appealing for dining in.

I have never thought Yummy House was very good. I have tried them twice now and left unimpressed when I compared them to Koyame. I understand Koyame has been sold and I haven't been there since but I do know the previous owners are opening the new restaurant on 466. I will definitely go there when they get up and running.
