Default New Latin e

Shopping at Beall's on 441 today, had hunger attack, stopped at a brand new place in the same strip as Taki's. Seems a Latin restaurant has gone into the space vacated by the German themed restaurant at the end of the strip.

It's very new, small staff VERY friendly and anxious to please. It's very basic small cafe "atmosphere". Our food (sandwiches) were very good ! Cuban ($15) was nice size and served with choice of a side: fries, hash browns, onion rings. Enjoyed very much. The chicken, bacon, cheese ($14) was fine, but shared and Cuban definitely our preference ! They serve quite a variety of breakfast omelettes ($12-$15) that come with potatoes. The dinner menu seemed rather pricey for our area (10 oz. skirt steak and half a pound of shrimp $35.99), and offer fresh snapper (3/4 to 1# whole for $25.99) but, checking the price of fresh snapper and shrimp at the grocery these days ! When we saw "Puerto Rican & Dominican", mouth was watering for some authentic empanadas , but didn't see them listed on menu ! Perhaps will add in the future !

I think that this is the place that you're referring to. Thank you. It's on my list.
