Default New Mexican Restaurant in Wildwood - Casa Agave

We tried Casa Agave in Wildwood Monday night. My husband loved his Burrito Chipotle. It is served wet style with sauce and cheese on top. I had enchiladas verde. Not sure I liked it since it had a foreign flavor. I was born and raised in south Texas so I have had more than my share of enchiladas. The flavor was almost sweet as if there was cinnamon in them. However, they were stuffed with lots of tender chicken. The service was great, food came fast and hot. Chips were warm and crisp, the salsa was unremarkable. The waitress kept our glasses filled and refilled the chips without us asking.

We went there yesterday and got their takeout menu. We found their prices very high for Mexican food! Los Magueyes Mexican in the Save a lot shopping center MUCH more reasonable and the food there is great. We will probably not try Casa Agave based on the prices of their food.

They have a website with the menu posted. Large variety, interesting items and to me the prices are reasonable. They have a lunch special for $8
