I had noticed the large bowls thus the sharing. We managed to eat all the noodles and pork but had to leave some of the broth. Everything is made fresh and you could tell. Service was efficient and friendly. Total tab was $16 plus tip. We Will be going again.
To get there you go past Bargins and Treasures almost to 301, it's the last driveway on the right before 301.
Do you mean the last driveway on the left? If I'm not mistaken, the last driveway on the right is the citrus place.

With my sense of direction, I’ll never find this place. Does anyone know the name and street address? I’m GPS dependent.

The directions are not assuming you're driving on 466.......one street South.

We did not have MREs until the mid-80s. We had C Rats in Viet Nam.

Okay, good point. I just asked my husband, and he concurs. There was a special opener to open the C Rats. And there was a box of two cigarettes included.

Not a very appetizing name, but nothing about all of that was... well, you know, I'm sure. He doesn't talk much about it.

Left Viet Nam 50 years ago this month. The can opener was a P-38 and the smokes came in a 4 pack. C-rations were better than most meals I ate in any mess hall while in country.

The things we remember??

I have a P-38 on my dog tags and had to use it last year when my regular can opener went kaput. My favorite C-Rat was Turkey Loaf, but while in Viet Nam, I only got Korean Combat Rations because I was attached to the ROK Tiger Division.
