When I lived up north, Vietnamese restaurants were commonly known as a place to get a good, quick, and cheap lunch. So, if they expect to charge two people 65 dollars for lunch or dinner, I suspect that it will not be very successful.

I believe the owners also own the nail salon next to Bravo Pizza in Lake Sumter Landing. Bryan does a great nail.

I have eaten there 6 or 7 times and have plans for next week. I love the food and I like food with a lot of flavor. The entree's are less than 15 and I always have to bring food home. There are sauces on the table to up the flavor. I love the egg rolls, spring roll and the wonton soup. The Pho is excellent and so are the crispy noodle nests with different proteins and Asian vegetables. Everything has been excellent and the prices very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is not Chinese it is Vietnamese and they are different.

I did get my chicken lemongrass and it was very good, and a large portion also.

The opener was a P-38 and their were 4 cigarettes.

So our grands stopped in for lunch, and found the food to be authentic. Pho is their favorite, along with the spring rolls. Vietnamese food is nothing like any other Asian restaurant. So not close to any Chinese food.

While they did say their Vietnamese grandmas Pho is the best, this came to a close second.

We will try it - our favorite restaurant in Houston, Kim Son, was Vietnamese-owned. And no, it isn't like Chinese food at all, it is much lighter.

My wife and her friend went the other day and were really impressed.
If you are a lover of “ordinary food” (I’ve heard this more than once and it means you like Red Lobster, RJ Gators, Friday’s, etc.) then it might be a little riske for you.
They both had PHO which was yummy and an item the owner said was not yet on the menu (5 spice chicken). They said they definitely would go back again.

When we lived on Maui our favorite place for Viet food was Ba Le in Lahaina. Excellent chicken Pho. We'll give this place a try!

Robert and I went a few weeks ago. I thought the food was very good. In my experience (which, stipulated, is not grand in Vietnamese cuisine), the food is unlike any other Asian food I can think of. It is certainly NOT like Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean or Indian, with all of which I have moderate experience. Not a lot of spices are used—pepper in particular— however fresh herbs like cilantro and mint are often used. And it is fresh, fresh, fresh!

We’ll definitely go again.

I’d love to hear comments from some people who are familiar with the cuisine.

The last Vietnamese restaurant I ate in served Dog. Do they have that on the menu here?
