Default Beef O'Brady's at Colony Plaza

Went there today, but I can't give it a review because I left immediately. How can they call it a "Sports Pub" when they don't have the Sunday Ticket to watch the Patriot's game?

The BOB in Wildwood went out of business last year and is now a Mexican restaurant. At Brownwood go to Gators Dockside, every game, every Sunday.

I am feeling kind of deflated for them not showing to Patriots game at the Colony location. The BOB’s in Mulberry is newly renovated and very nice. Had great and fast service there yesterday.

Go figure, I love Beef O’brad’s for the sports bar atmosphere, but never watch sports. The truth about being a restaurant manager in the Villages, It is a nightmare trying to please all the nit picky residents at once. What we do is try restaurants and mark them into memory as we like it or we don’t like it. We now have a long list of likes. Life is going by so fast, I don’t wish to waist a moment complaining.

I guess the owner got tired of sports fans taking all the tables and seats at the bar and drinking water with lemon. Several years ago, I used to go watch my favorite team play. One game I had to stand at the bar for three hours and watch the game while two guys sat there, shared 10 wings and drank water with lemon. They didn't even order a soft drink. I bet the owner made a lot of money on them. He needs to turnover the tables constantly to make money and the wait staff needs tips to survive. Went to Gators Dockside recently and sat with my College Club. Two couples next to me spent a total of $15 for the entire afternoon. They shared an appetizer and drank water. Shame on them.

Attempted to have dinner and a few beers at the Colony location yesterday after a round of golf with 5 other players. After seating ourselves and waiting over 20 minutes for a server to even acknowledge our presence (which never happened) we all left and went elsewhere with our money. Obviously they were busy but not overly so in my opinion. Guess I can strike this off our list for next time.
