Back in the working days, Jimmy Johns was my “go to” place. If I was out and about at lunch I would stop and pick up lunch. On those days where I stayed in the office, a call and lunch was delivered 15 minutes later. They would drop off 10 or 15 lunches at a time. Since there are no large office complexes in this area, I think it would be hard for Jimmy Johns to survive doing deliveries.

Not only that though, but just watch the unintended consequences of making promises of delivery...within a specified time period.

3. More Miles Behind the Wheel

The job itself increases delivery drivers’ risk for causing a crash. The more miles you drive, the more likely you’ll be involved in a wreck. When you combine all of these factors, it’s no surprise that delivery drivers are more likely to cause crashes.

Now factor in a minimum period of time for these deliveries, the additional pressure it adds to the driver's and it's impossible to argue...that even more risks are present.
