Poor employees will be running around like crazy people trying to deliver in 15 minutes or less

Back in the working days, Jimmy Johns was my “go to” place. If I was out and about at lunch I would stop and pick up lunch. On those days where I stayed in the office, a call and lunch was delivered 15 minutes later. They would drop off 10 or 15 lunches at a time. Since there are no large office complexes in this area, I think it would be hard for Jimmy Johns to survive doing deliveries.

YEP...exactly!

Not only that though, but just watch the unintended consequences of making promises of delivery...within a specified time period.

While this link primarily addresses pizza delivery, it's not a coincidence that the dangers and pressure of making quick food delivery...comes from a law firm.

Delivery Driver's Hazards (click here)

Quote:
Pizza Delivery Drivers Have a Higher Likelihood of Crashing

Delivery service drivers are among a group of occupations with the highest fatality rate in the United States. Undoubtedly, pizza delivery is a difficult profession, but it’s not just drivers who are in danger during a crash.

Everyone on the road is a potential victim.

Many factors increase the risk for a delivery driver car wreck.

1. A Lack of Driving Experience

Many delivery drivers are young and inexperienced. Rookie drivers are more likely to make driving errors, speed, act impulsively, and get into a crash.

2. Pressure to Make Fast Deliveries

Restaurants and delivery services often pressure drivers to make quick deliveries. Many incentivize speed over safety by offering bonuses for quick turnarounds or making drivers reliant on tips. This can encourage reckless driving.

3. More Miles Behind the Wheel

The job itself increases delivery drivers’ risk for causing a crash. The more miles you drive, the more likely you’ll be involved in a wreck. Pizza delivery drivers log a lot of miles, sometimes at night, on unfamiliar roads, and in hazardous weather conditions. When you combine all of these factors, it’s no surprise that delivery drivers are more likely to cause crashes
.

Now factor in a minimum period of time for these deliveries, the additional pressure it adds to the driver's and it's impossible to argue...that even more risks are present.

Based on the OP's description, it's located in the Terrace Shoppes at Spruce Creek in Summerfield -- behind McDonald's and CVS, across 441 from Walmart.
