I LOVE OAKWOOD and love it's sides; Lima beans cooked with ham, ditto, the green beans, good slaw.

I agree. I especially like the lima beans, which I don't have that often..

We don't care for Sonny's or I BBQ. Woody's is good but Oakwood has been our favorite... until today. We tried Artman for lunch and they are better than Oakwood. Great smoke on the meats, homemade sides, best mac & cheese ever. Not very expensive when you wind up taking a big box of leftovers home.

Ate there last night and they had baked potatoes. No comparison to Sonny's.

I'm at Sonny's at least once a week, but only because they're golf cart accessible. While they're pretty good I STRONGLY prefer Oakwood.

Still not on their menu. Maybe it was a baked Sweet Potato.

YOU should have had the baby back ribs. I think it is much better than pulled pork.............Oakwood is far better than Sonnys.

Green beans are really, really, good, cooked low and slow with ham. Lima beans are yummy. They DO have baked potatoes and they are done right. I don't like the Texas toast either, but bread isn't high on my list. The corn salad is good.

Try in ONE more time and get the baby back ribs, the green beans and the baked potato. Go in NOT high season on Sunday. The baby back ribs are on special. There is a reason it is hard to find the parking space.

I certainly know the difference between a baked potato and a sweet potato. They aren't on the menu. All you have to do is ask for one.

Tried them all and neither Sonny's or Oakwood makes my list.

Sully's Smokehouse in Leesburg is the best around.

Than way way down the list is Sonny's and Oakwood.
And below that is Burkes.

We ate at Sonny's last week and it wasn't very good. They changed their menu to offer fewer choices and the ribs were overcooked.

Next time we'll try I Barbecue.

Sorry Gracie, but I don't go to a BBQ place for beans, green or lima. Baby back ribs and ham are also not big on my list either. I want big meaty ribs cooked right with good spicy sauce.
