Off The Hook
Last night we went to a restaurant in Belleview called Off The Hook. It is where the 110th Street Grill used to be.
This is a Peruvian restaurant that serves up food with FLAVOR. It is definitely not Mexican or TexMex but a unique taste combining spices, sauces, and vegetables with the meats. I had a fish dish that was delicious. A large filet of Swai was lightly pan fried, topped with 6 large shrimp and sauced with a red pepper sauce. It had a sweetness of the shrimp and the cream sauce but with a little bite of the peppers. The Swai is a firm white fish that was perfectly cooked. Try this place. It is different from any flavors in The Villages and our tastebuds need a change of pace now and then. |

I stopped there a few weeks ago to grab a quick ceviche. Ceviche is a favorite of mine and their Peruvian version was great. Been meaning to go back to try more dishes. Thanks for the reminder.

We ventured to Belleview last night to have dinner at the Off The Hook restaurant. It is unassuming from the outside, but the food was delicious. If you like Peruvian food or just want to try something different, you will be greatly pleased.

Off the hook. Excellent
Eaten there twice in the past week. Delicious food, helpful servers - guiding us thru the menu.

OMG ... we ate at Off The Hook for the first time yesterday afternoon. It is our new "favorite place". The food is not spicy hot, but very flavorful. The Arroz Con Mariscos Verde is a blend of seafood and rice with cilantro-based flavors, and the skirt steak Chorrillana was perfectly done. We'll be going back until we've tried everything on the menu. And don't foget to sample the garlic and the mint dipping sauces. Mmmmmm
