Default The Old Coffee House

There is quite a write up on this restaurant on the other site. I had never heard of it before. Have you been there and is it this good?

It’s Ole.
And it is just as described in the article. Don’t expect more and then come on here and bash them.

I had no idea they had a lunch buffet. I've only been there for an early breakfast when I had our car worked on. The fried chicken buffet looks good.

The place has been around for years. One of the waitresses told us it goes back to when the railroads were really running a lot and they all came in for meals...park the engine and then eat. Haven't been in there in a while, but we remember the chicken as some of the best we've had since moving to FL.

I read about the place today and I'll try the lunch buffet some day. This Yankee loves fried chicken.

Haven't been in awhile but the buffet is very good. Real Southern cooking which means don't go right before a cholesterol check.

On 301 in Wildwood across from the railroad station. It's about a 1,000 feet from Sumter Tire.

At the corner of 466a and 301 but facing 301. You can pull into the parking lot from 466a. There's a remodeled gray/white building next to it (use as a landmark) that is a counseling center but used to be a chiropractic office and before that was pink and housed a biinds company.

I doubt we will do the buffet, but we'll try it for breakfast in the very near future.

Sounds like I must make the drive down there to try the lunch buffet. IF I don't like it, I won't bash it on-line.
