Have tried OB twice. I want this place to succeed! It's in my neighborhood, I want it to ge great. So far, two disappointing meals. The manager even carried our food to the table once and served us two Rueben sandwiches -one toasted and lovely, one on cold rye bread with about six soggy french fries on the plate. Not very promising. So far, we continue to drive past OB to Hacienda Hills --which we love!

I also would like this retaurant to succeed as I live down the street. I used to go to the old restaurant every Thursday for "All you can eat crab". Unfortunately, I have had 2 very disappointing meals at the new OBG. A sad asian/oriental salad and some dried out balsamic/lemon chicken. Not looking good.

Try the fish tacos. Yum.

Slow service, over priced average food!

I have to agree that Orange Blossom restaurant is not up to par. I also live a couple of blocks away and would love to become a frequent customer. However, we've tried the new restaurant twice and have been very disappointed both times. The chicken was dry and tasteless and the asian chicken salad was sad. There are too many choices across the bridge :(

I agree. Tried dozen times some issue every time. We have lost pool karaoke, casino days, burger night, margarita day, and Tikka bar. The old restaurant was a dump but Thursday crab night and Friday fish fry was full house. Patrons were parking around the circle. What we gained is a nice looking restaurant with mediocre overpriced priced food/drink and a staff with an attitude.

Three of us went there for the first time for lunch last week. Food and service were great!! Thought the sandwich menu was the best of any country club. Bacon Bloody Mary's were also great!!..

We went to Orange Blossom last night for sandwiches and drinks. I really like their steak sandwich. When I saw the shrimp tacos on the menu, I was torn between those and the steak sandwich. I will go back and try the tacos.

There was a nice crowd but it was not a screaming madhouse like so many other places become. In fact, I saw people who were able to have actual (gasp) conversations.

Anyway, we thought everything at OB was just fine last night. Our server was excellent.

OB is about a 15 minute cart ride for me but I go a couple times a month. While one of my greatest reasons for going is the resort atmosphere around the pool, I have found their food to be normally above average. Their butterfish is about a 6 or 7 (while the Lighthouse' is an 8 or 9), but had their pot roast last night and it was an easy 8. The server was outstanding!

An excellent atmosphere and quality-of-food experience. I will continue to frequent it.

Be careful, don't ask for anything extra or it will cost you. I had a cheese steak with Swiss cheese and fried onions and it cost me an extra dollar. Where I come from, they are included in the price, which by the way is a lot cheaper than theirs.

If their cheese steak doesn't come with the fried onions, it would be an extra charge, Always ask if it's not listed. Then you can decide if you want to pay the extra charge or not. If you decide to pay for it, you can't complain. No big deal. Every restaurant makes their food different.

I had lunch there last week. I had the Cobb salad which was very good. The service was very good and the other three guys I was with were happy with their meals as well.
