Maybe my reluctance to embrace chain restaurants where I live is because where I originally came from, the only chains were the regular fast-food burger joints, all of which we have here. Everything else was mom & pop, and this was in Queens, NY. Yes, when traveling, we always look for a Cracker Barrel - pretty consistent food and immaculate rest rooms; however, I'm not traveling through TV, I live here, and would really appreciate some good mom & pop places. Thank heavens we're willing to travel out of TV, where there are some really nice and decent places to eat that aren't chains. To each his own! Wherever you chose to eat, enjoy!
