My experience after more than one visit to a P.F. Chang's China Bistro in VA before moving here would suggest that it probably will be worse.

Way above any of the ones here now. Very high quality for a chain.

Cheesecake Factory is opening in Gainesville. I don't know if TV would support it.

Except for those that think there is.

Hubby and I found out recently that PF Changs is no longer affiliated with Pei Wei. We have PF Changs gift cards and have always used them at Pei Wei also. Not so anymore. We were informed by Pei Wei that Pei Wei no longer accepts PF Changs gift cards.

I had the mistaken (apparently) idea that PF Changs food was "boil in a bag" stuff, like Applebee's. However, based on what I found, I stand corrected.

"P.F. Chang’s kitchens are all-scratch kitchens, meaning the food is made from scratch every day, in every restaurant, and the chefs use all-natural meat, responsibly sourced seafood, and local produce whenever possible."

And that makes me even more excited to hear they are coming to Brownwood!!

That makes me skeptical though. There is no chef in any chain restaurant kitchen in the USA. Cooks for sure, sous chefs in some cases, but definitely no chefs.

No real Asian restaurants anywhere close to the Villages. All a bunch of Americanized courses or fast food. Last time I had Tom Yum soup it was unrecognizable from the real stuff. An authentic Asian restaurant would be welcomed.....about time a true Korean restaurant came to town also, Tampa is to far a drive.

Since when is The Villages Gourmet Club a bonifide source for new restaurants here in The Villages.

Cannot find it the newspaper nor any letter of intent published by PF Changs!

I posted a direct response from Changs. I'm sure the Happy News will follow with a "growth" article soon.
