I also try to stay away from carbs. But every time I try one of these cauliflower substitutes, it tastes like cauliflower.

Thumbs up Great Italian Food

Another New Yorker checking in. This was as close to NY Italian as we have tasted in
Florida. Would always go back.

All of you that love it, I have a question. Do they offer both thin crust and traditional crust? Which do you order?? Especially interested in the NY/NJ crowd that have the best pizza in the country.

I am from NJ and order the pizza thin and crispy. It's the best pizza I have had in the area.

Does anyone know if they deliver, and if so do they deliver to all the Villages (north of 466) or just in the Lake Deaton area? I googled them and they don't appear to have a website, just a facebook page and I don't do facebook.

Here's a link to their webpage locations site. Looks like the Villages ocation only has carry out, not delivery.

We're another couple from NJ. We too think Piesanos has the best pizza we've had in Florida.

The crust at Belleview Pizza is paper thin and brittle, and does not come close to Piesano’s. It’s ok but Bravos, Flippers and Piesano’s are the best in this area. Stavros, Belleview and Takis are just ok IMHO. But like art, it’s an individual taste. People rave about NY and NJ pizza. True, some of it is excellent but certainly not all of it. The best was from Mezza Luna on Arthur Ave in the Bronx.

Enjoyed Piesanos. Had the meatlover's calzone. The thing was the size of a football. had to take half home.

I’m a native New Yorker, worked in Midtown and lower Manhattan for almost 40 years. As I’ve said earlier, not all NY and NJ pizza is outstanding. In many instances Albanians have assumed ownership of pizza shops and many have cut corners to stay in business and pay NYC’s exorbitant rents. Maybe Flippers et al can’t compare with the Northeast’s best pizza but they’re the best in this area. Let’s also not overlook New Haven CT, Providence RI, and Boston. They also have excellent pizza and Italian food that you can’t find in this area.

Have never had a problem getting into Flippers, always have open seating. Always stand in line at Bellview and lately, Pizano's. As stated by others, it's all individual taste but evidently for many, Flippers is not at the top of peoples choice.
