Default Peel and Eat Shrimp

Another thread got me wondering ...

I think the best peel-and-eat shrimp is at The Freezer in Homosassa.

Any recommendations for restaurant-prepared peel-and-eat shrimp closer to TV?

Thumbs up We do

We stopped buying Peel and Eat Shrimp because you don't know where it came from and there are many from farms, etc in bad water. We buy fresh shrimp from Whole Foods, which is from USA waters and is fresh. It is sort of a pain to peal and devain but cooking only for a couple of minutes in boiling water and they are great.

Default Shrimp

I buy shrimp frequently at Lighthouse Seafood Market on 466. They have all sizes and the Florida Reds. All is fresh and nothing farm raised. They will peal and steam for a nominal charge. I bought a great tool for peeling and deveining at the market. It works great ane I peel and devein all the time.

OK, so let me be clear. I'm only interested in restaurant-prepared peel-and-eat shrimp.

Palm Garden in Leesburg. Outdoor only, but great shrimp.

Pity. You can prepare your own tastier for half the price. But, hey, go for it!
